The City of Hoschton has been awarded two Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) loans totaling $20 million for its wastewater treatment plant and a new force main to discharge to Indian Creek.
City officials anticipate starting the two-phase project by the end of the year. The first phase will expand the city’s wastewater treatment facility to a 950,000-gallon-per-day capacity. The second will increase the capacity to two million gallons per day.
