Today, Marriott International, Inc. observed the groundbreaking of the opening of its StudioRes brand hotel, as Concord Hospitality kick-started in Fort Myers the structure of its first property in Florida. Declared in June last year, the StudioRes brand is the new reasonably priced midscale property of Marriott in the U.S. & Canada.
In 2025, the StudioRes property in Fort Myers is expected to open in Spring and is being established by Concord Hospitality with its long-standing partner Whitman Peterson. Concord has plans to grow over 50 StudioRes properties. It will spread over several dozens of submarkets in all the prime U.S. cities, with many more scheduled to break ground in the approaching months.
Constant with the approach of the company to meet guest needs with locally pertinent products related to lodging in terms of staying, StudioRes is keen to provide reasonably priced up-to-date comfort for guests looking for long time staying accommodations based in Canada and US.
The prototype of StudioRes, 124 rooms and 54,000 square feet model is expected to be the most reasonable cost-per-key product of Marriott to be built. Guests who are looking for an extended-stay option will have the opportunity to get completely furnished studio rooms with kitchen and queen beds.
