In the Cavs final game before Christmas, they travel to the Windy City to take on the Chicago Bulls for the first time this season. The Cavs swept the Bulls last season, 4-0. The Bulls have won three in a row and four-of-five.

Cleveland ran out of steam on Thursday night. Going into the night shorthanded, Sam Merrill left the game in the first half and did not return (right wrist). The Pelicans ran out to an early lead and did not give that up in the second half, pulling away for the win. Dean Wade set a season-high with 20 points and drilled six three pointers.
