There were high expectations when Liverpool signed Fabio Carvalho from Fulham two summers ago. The young attacker made waves with his play as a regular starter in the Championship while still a teenager, and he seemed primed to make the jump to the Premier League. His first season with the Reds saw him earn some playing time early in the season, but his minutes dwindled as the season progressed.
With a stacked attacking band and a newly rebuilt midfield, Carvalho was sent on loan to Red Bull Leipzig in the Bundesliga for the year. It is expected that the Reds will look to find a suitable location domestically for Carvalho. Several clubs in the Premier League and the Championship are said to be interested, with Leicester City one of the teams listed.
