FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Acting Mayor Karl Bandemer and the City of Fort Wayne Public Works Division announced Wednesday that a record $48.9 million will be invested in the community as part of 2024′s neighborhood infrastructure improvements.
The City of Fort Wayne shares that its record investment of $48.9 million includes $37.5 million for streets, roads, and bridges, $9.3 million for sidewalks and alleys, and $2.1 million for trails. The City of Fort Wayne adds that more than $340 million in neighborhood infrastructure enhancements have been invested in the City of Fort Wayne since 2014.
