DOT Funds Infrastructure Projects Through 2 Grant Programs – The Presidential Prayer Team

Grants focus on complex infrastructure under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The Department of Transportation announced the release of $4.9 billion to fund 37 uniquely large and complex infrastructure construction projects through the 2026 fiscal year. The funding will be distributed through the National Infrastructure Project Assistance (Mega) grant program and the Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) grant program, both of which were established through the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law in 2021.

“With this announcement, we are advancing projects so large, complex, and ambitious that they could not get funded under the infrastructure programs that existed prior to the Biden administration,” said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. “Our INFRA and Mega programs are helping build the cathedrals of American infrastructure: truly transformative projects that will change entire regions and our entire country for the better.”

Most of the projects involve bridges or bridge systems, while others include interstates and a supply yard.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Buttigieg as he oversees the investment in major infrastructure projects.
  • For U.S. transportation officials as they review and award grant funding to states and communities.
