Residents of Wright County anticipating their 2025 property tax statements will have to hang tight a little longer. Due to an unforeseen issue with the county’s process of digitizing these documents, there has been a short delay. The Wright County Taxpayer Services had initially planned to have these statements ready for residents at the start of April.
They hit a snag, it seems, with the tech side of things. “We encountered an issue with transitioning the statements online,” officials from Wright County explained, suggesting that, early next week, residents scheduled to receive their statements online can expect them to be ready. Through a brief announcement on the county’s official website, an apology for any inconvenience this delay may have caused was issued.
Local taxpayers urgently needing to view their information are likely to face some frustration, but the county assures that the move to expedite the release is underway. “We can confirm a new file has been received, and staff will prioritize getting the statements on our website as soon as possible,” a statement from Wright County Taxpayer Services declared.
