Key Real Madrid target already looking for property in Spanish capital – report

According to a revelation from Argentine journalist sources via Laposta and relayed by Defensa Central, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez is house-hunting in Madrid, igniting serious speculation over a potential summer transfer to Real Madrid.

The report claims that Fernandez, a long-time admirer of Los Blancos, has already visited properties in the Spanish capital with his partner Valentina Cervantes, notably in the same area where Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez resides.

Allegedly, it was Alvarez who recommended the area, with Rodrigo De Paul and even pop star Tini Stoessel present during some of these arrangements, making this rumour one that is difficult to ignore, especially given the personal connections between the parties involved.

“Enzo Fernandez has already seen a house with Valentina Fernandez in the same area where Julian Alvarez lives. He hasn’t signed yet, they are analysing it.

“Alvarez’s partner with Valentina Cervantes, are practically best friends. They have already gone to see a house to buy in Madrid,” said the journalist.

Real Madrid are already planning a reshuffle in their squad this summer, with a central midfielder among their top priorities.

While Fernandez is under contract with Chelsea until 2032 and carries a market value of around €75 million, the London club may be open to negotiating a slightly lower fee, especially in light of their own financial balancing and squad rebuilding.

Given Real Madrid’s reputation and the player’s known admiration for the club, it could be the perfect match.

The fact that Fernandez is taking steps such as looking for a house in Madrid, well ahead of any official confirmation, suggests something serious may be brewing behind the scenes.

For what it is worth, it would not be the first time a potential Madrid signing laid down roots in the city before pen met paper.

Of course, Real Madrid are linked to a host of names every summer, many of which never materialise. But not every rumour comes with the kind of personal details and connections this one does.

For now, there is no official movement, but in a window that’s already shaping up to be one of Real Madrid’s busiest in years, Fernandez’s potential arrival is a story worth watching closely.
