Rosedale Federal Savings & Loan Association has signed a lease with Eastern Outdoor Advertising Company for 3,092 square feet of space at 1518 Sulphur Spring Road in Arbutus.

The location, upon its expected opening in the first quarter of 2025, will replace the existing Rosedale Federal branch at 5424 Carville Ave. and represents the 13th full-service branch banking office serving Baltimore city as well as Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford Counties, for the locally owned financial institution.

Karen Deeley, senior vice president, MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, represented the tenant and Gail Chrzan, senior vice president, Blue & Obrecht Realty LLC, represented the landlord in this lease transaction. MacKenzie Contracting Company is handling the tenant build-out activities.

Founded in 1908, Rosedale Federal has assets of approximately $1.3 billion. Headquartered in Perry Hall, the bank provides a full range of financial services to both business and personal customers. This includes checking and savings accounts, online and mobile banking, certificates of deposit, residential mortgages, loans to fuel business growth, construction loans and more.

In 2022, Rosedale Federal acquired CBM Bancorp, the Baltimore-based holding company of Chesapeake Bank of Maryland and its four-branch network in Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford Counties. Last year, the Perry Hall-based financial institution donated more than $249,000 to support local community groups and causes.

Built in 1975, the two-story, 12,000-square-foot multi-tenant building features a free surface parking lot, roadside visibility from Sulphur Spring Road and is within close proximity to MD Route 1 and Interstates 695 and 95. The structure was originally developed as a branch of the United States Post Office.
