The Motley Fool Announces Exclusive Access to White Lotus Inc. Pre-IPO Investment Round

PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ALEXANDRIA, VA – April 1, 2025 – The Motley Fool, a financial services company dedicated to making the world smarter, happier, and richer, today announced it has secured exclusive access to a limited private investment round for White Lotus Inc., the luxury hospitality company born from the acclaimed series, ahead of its highly anticipated NYSE debut.

White Lotus Inc., based on the award-winning series that has captivated global audiences since 2021, has filed confidential paperwork for an initial public offering. The company plans to raise $2.4 billion to develop a real-world luxury resort chain inspired by the show, with plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “WLTS” at an initial price range of $18-$20 per share.

The White Lotus has redefined prestige television with its razor-sharp portrayal of exclusive luxury resorts where paradise meets unexpected drama,” said William Somers, EVP of Business Development at The Motley Fool. “This investment opportunity represents a unique chance to participate in the transformation of this cultural phenomenon from acclaimed entertainment property into a real-world luxury hospitality brand.”

In an unprecedented entertainment-to-reality business venture, the show’s creators have spent the past 18 months quietly piloting actual White Lotus resort experiences at undisclosed locations. These pilot properties have hosted select high-net-worth individuals, allowing the company to refine its concept while collecting valuable operational data ahead of a full commercial launch.

“Our due diligence reveals that White Lotus Inc. has successfully translated the show’s signature elements into tangible guest experiences,” said William Somers. “While their GAAP financials show recent challenges with a net loss of $669.29 million in 2024, their EBITDAG metrics tell a different story about the core business. Looking at EBITDAG — Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, Amortization, and Guest incidents — reveals the company’s strong underlying operational model when removing statistically insignificant guest-related expenses.”

The company currently plans five initial properties across Sicily, Hawaii, Thailand, Maldives, and the French Alps — all filming locations or settings from the series — with aggressive expansion plans to reach 12 properties by 2028.

Motley Fool members will receive exclusive access to pre-IPO shares at $18.50, significantly below analysts’ projected opening range of $78-$95. Members participating in this private investment round will also receive:

  • Priority access to White Lotus’s innovative “PARADISE” token offering.
  • Right of first refusal on their 4X leveraged ETF ($WLTS4).
  • Complimentary 3-night stay at their flagship Sicily location.

As disclosed in their SEC filings, each White Lotus property has experienced an increasing Guest Incident Rate, from 0.5 per property per quarter in 2022 to 2.7 in 2024. However, management assures investors these occurrences have had a “negligible impact” on occupancy rates and have actually enhanced the resort’s “exclusive mystique,” much like the dramatic guest experiences depicted in the series.

“White Lotus represents a unique opportunity in the luxury hospitality sector,” said Morgan Sharpe, Chief Hospitality Analyst at Delphi Capital Management. “When analyzing with EBITDAG, which excludes guest-related incidents, their business model demonstrates exceptional resilience and growth potential when you remove the distraction of maritime mishaps and suite-level surprises.”

This press release is not an offer to buy or sell a security and contains forward-looking statements. Investors are strongly encouraged to focus on EBITDAG, which management believes best reflects core operational efficiency when excluding the impact of guest-related incidents. Occupancy calculations exclude rooms temporarily unavailable due to deep cleaning, evidence collection, or spiritual cleansing. Lower-than-industry repeat guest rate attributed to transformative experiences often eliminating the need for return visits, and other factors beyond our control. Travel insurance strongly recommended.
