NEW YORK, April 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Peak Altitude Partners (“PeakAlts”), an investment firm that provides alternative asset solutions to the private wealth segment, announces its launch. Led by industry veterans from Goldman Sachs, Hightower Advisors, and H.I.G. Capital, PeakAlts curates access to high quality private market investments for RIA, family office, multi-family office, and endowment partners. The firm’s select partner ecosystem currently advises on over $30 billion in assets.
PeakAlts specializes in sourcing hard-to-access investments, performing institutional-grade diligence, and structuring terms on behalf of partners for alternative investments across private equity, private credit, real assets, esoterics, and niche co-investments from emerging to seasoned managers. The firm’s integrated technology provides an exclusive investment ecosystem, automated subscription process, and seamless fund administration and performance reporting.
“Client demand for alternatives is growing, but barriers remain – primarily in conducting rigorous diligence to discern the best opportunities from less attractive options,” said Joshua Desai, Managing Partner and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Peak Altitude Partners. “We leverage our expertise to identify high quality, hard-to-access private market opportunities in a way we believe has not been available in the wealth segment until now. We offer bespoke solutions designed to meet the needs of our diverse client base.”
Prior to co-founding PeakAlts, Mr. Desai held various roles at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Co-Head of Private Credit in Alternative Capital Markets, where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, and syndicating private markets exposure to Goldman Sachs’ wealth management clients. Earlier in his career, Mr. Desai worked at Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.
Private wealth investors are expected to increase their exposure to alternative assets from $4 trillion in 2022 to $13 trillion in 2032, according to Bain & Company. Yet, according to MSCI’s Burgiss Private Capital Indexes, the dispersion of returns is meaningfully greater in private markets, emphasizing the importance of manager and investment selection.
“Access to the right private market opportunities can bring incredible value to both advisors’ businesses and their clients’ portfolios,” said Adriana Tullman, Managing Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Peak Altitude Partners. “Most clients are seeking higher returns and lower volatility than what traditional 60/40 portfolios can offer. That’s where we come in—we specialize in cutting through the noise and providing direct access to top-tier opportunities, without the operational and reporting complexities historically associated with alternative investments.”
