BRAINERD — The Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation announced the Nisswa Enrichment Fund will join the foundation’s family of funds, powered by CommunityGiving.
“BLACF is honored to host this fund and excited to see the impact it will have to support a variety of enrichment projects in one of the best small towns in Minnesota!,” said Terri Foster, Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation executive director, in a news release. “Having the enrichment fund will enable Nisswa to meet emerging needs of the community.”
Tax-deductible donations are now being accepted to grow the fund and support projects in Nisswa including park improvements and expansion.
“I’m excited to see how the fund may be utilized to provide an additional funding source to help support city improvements,” said Jenny Max, Nisswa city administrator. “A big thank you goes to the Nisswa Mayor and City Council for having the vision to initiate this fund to provide our residents, businesses, and visitors a path to support community enrichment by involving our residents. This will be a real game changer to help fund immediate and future needs of the Nisswa community.”
