Net interest income (NII), which is the difference between the interest income a bank earns from its lending activities and the interest it pays to depositors, dipped 3.2%, coming at ₹2,166.5 crore against ₹2,237.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.
Profit Before Tax for the March quarter grew 20% to ₹1,769.58 crore, up from ₹1,476.18 crore in Q4 FY2024.

LIC Housing Finance Ltd reported a 5% year-on-year increase in total disbursements to ₹19,156 crore in Q4 FY2025, compared to ₹18,232 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Disbursements in the Individual Home Loan segment rose 8% to ₹15,383 crore from ₹14,300 crore in Q4 FY2024. However, project loan disbursements declined to ₹875 crore, down from ₹1,501 crore in the year-ago period.
The Individual Home Loan portfolio stood at ₹2,61,562 crore as of March 31, 2025, marking a 7% rise from ₹2,44,205 crore a year earlier. The Project Loan portfolio increased 15% to ₹9,213 crore from ₹8,036 crore. The company’s total outstanding loan portfolio expanded by 7% to ₹3,07,732 crore from ₹2,86,844 crore in the previous fiscal.

Provisions for Expected Credit Loss (ECL) declined to ₹4,899.03 crore as on March 31, 2025, from ₹6,270.06 crore a year earlier. The Stage 3 Exposure at Default ratio also improved to 2.47% as of March 31, 2025, compared to 3.31% on the same date last year and 2.75% as of December 31, 2024.
The board of directors of the company has approved the recommendation of a dividend for the financial year 2024-2025, 500%, i.e. ₹10 per equity share of ₹2 each. The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of LIC Housing Finance Ltd ended at ₹624.90, up by ₹8.10, or 1.31% on the BSE.
