Antioch police announced the identity of a
Jane Doe whose burned body was found last week along an Antioch trail.
The victim is 25-year-old Mykaella Sharlman, who the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office identified based on her dental records. Police arrested two people of interest in relation to Sharlman’s death. The two are currently in police custody.
Sharlman’s body was found by Antioch police on Oct. 17 at around 5:36 a.m. A fire was reported on the trail north of Lopez Drive where a female body was found burning.

on the body
and other descriptive information last week to help identify her.
Police said the investigation is active and on-going, but no further information will be released at this time.
