10x Banking has appointed Tom Bentley as its new Executive Board member and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), who will also join the executive board. He fills the role vacated by Matt Mills, who left in January 2025. Bentley will lead the company’s global growth strategy worldwide. His appointment follows a year of successful growth. The firm now has key markets in Europe, APAC, the Middle East, and Africa.
Antony Jenkins CBE, Founder and CEO of 10x, said, “Tom’s appointment underscores our ability to attract world-class core banking talent and our investment in building the future of financial services. Tom’s track record in expanding commercial operations. And Lewis’s focus on forging strategic partnerships across APAC will play an important role in supporting this region as we grow to meet strong client demand.
“The past nine years of focused R&D have brought our technology to a point of true scalability and repeatability – unique in the industry – with our cloud-native platform now powering significant banking transformations and live client environments at unprecedented scale and speed.”

He will lead the strategy, growth, and execution of the business objectives across the Asia-Pacific region. Ide replaced Will Dale, who left after less than a year in the role to become Managing Director and Head of existing business for APAC at Temenos.
The appointments come as 10x Banking has just completed its ninth year of operations. It is helping to power the next-generation banking experiences for some of the world’s most ambitious financial institutions. Including Chase UK, Westpac, and Old Mutual. Recent clients include West Brom Building Society. Where Deloitte have helped transform the building society with the 10x Banking cloud-native meta core banking platform.

Enterprise Times: What does this mean?
This announcement brings together two veterans from two leading UK banks. Jenkins was CEO at Barclays for three years, and he and Bentley should have similar approaches to the market. There is no immediate understanding of how Bentley will approach the role. But he has deep experience and should have a significant network at least in the UK and Europe.
For Ide, this is a huge opportunity. He knows 10x well, and after the abbreviated nature of the previous appointment, he will have to find his feet in APAC. It will be interesting to see how he addresses the market differences and what success he achieves.
