“Night of Revival’ worship concert raises funds for 10-year-old with skull-based tumor

JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) — What started as a worship concert turned into a powerful night of support for 10-year-old Olivia Henderson at the Jasper Civic Center on Sunday.

Organized by worship pastor Cole Hyche, Night of Revival became a benefit event for Olivia, who is currently battling a skull-based tumor.

“For it to be meaningful beyond just me, and it goes to the people in the community and someone that’s in need, it makes it so much better,” Hyche said.

Henderson has already undergone two intensive surgeries, and she is still in need of a third.

All proceeds and sponsorships from the event will go toward helping Olivia’s family with travel and medical expenses.

“Being ten years old, I can’t imagine what it’s like for her to be going through this,” said Olivia’s aunt, Diane Murphy. “Just looking when I pulled in, my kids were like, ‘Oh my gosh, the parking lot’s full, Mom!’ There’s just so many people here to support. It means so much to our family.”
