Detroit — The Rocket is back on course for Sunday.
The final round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic will feature twosomes again, all going off the first tee, starting at 7:40 a.m., after tournament officials had to shuffle and condense things for Saturday’s third round because of a massive storm that blew through the area in the early morning hours.
Gates to Detroit Golf Club will open at 7:15 a.m. Shuttles from Wayne State and Detroit Mercy start at 7:15 a.m.
The leaders, Akshay Bhatia and Aaron Rai, who were at 17 under after matching 4-under 68s on Saturday, will play together for a second straight day, and will tee off at 2 p.m. Their closest pursuers, Cameron Davis, the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic champion, and Cameron Young, who was runner-up in 2022, will tee off at 1:50. Davis and Young were at 16 under, after Davis shot 66 and Young 67.
Fan favorite Rickie Fowler, the defending champion who vaulted up the leaderboard to 11 under and a tie for 19th with a third-round 67, will tee off at 12:25 p.m. with Dylan Wu, who also was at 11 under after a 68.
You can find the complete final-round tee times HERE.
Perfect weather is in the forecast.
For those who can’t make it to Detroit Golf Club on Sunday, Golf Channel and Peacock will broadcast from 1-3 p.m., and CBS will broadcast from 3 p.m. until the finish. ESPN+ will have streaming coverage all day, including featured groups and featured holes, starting at 7:40 a.m.
